I am Juma and a computer science student. Through Elite Refugees, I am committed to transforming lives and creating opportunities through the intersection of education and innovation. As someone who understands the challenges firsthand, I am driven to leverage the power of technology and guide individuals toward a brighter future. Together, we can bridge the gap and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Abdul Hameed Ahmadzai

Team Lead

I am Abdul Hameed (Ahmadzai). An Afghan Refugee residing in Pakistan, Studying MBBS at Ayub Medical College (AMC), Abbottabad. I am currently a beneficiary of the “Hanns Seidel Foundation” scholarship program. Besides my academics, I am a Representative of the “Afghan Ayubian students” at AMC and an active member of different welfare societies at my college and beyond, where we provide free healthcare facilities to underprivileged community.
Being a leader of the “ELITE REFUGEES”, I devote my time and energy to transform and uplift the lives of the refugees by providing healthcare, education and counselling.

Uzma Safi

Program Manager

I am Uzma Safi, a passionate psychologist with a mission to explore and deepen the field of psychology. My aim is to help those who are dealing with severe mental health issues by providing counseling and therapeutic services.
As a dedicated humanitarian and volunteer, I devote my time and energy to supporting and uplifting those who most need it. I am passionate about tackling all types of risks and challenges to make a positive impact on society.
Apart from my professional work, I love educating and mentoring others. I believe that knowledge is just as essential as other basic necessities for the health of the mind and body.

Imran Khan Ahmadzai

Greetings, I am Mr. Imran Khan Watan Zaar, an Afghan refugee residing in Pakistan. My educational journey led me through the baccalaureate (12th grade) at Afghan School in Pakistan and continued with a bachelor’s honours degree in Computer science from Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan. Having experienced a life marked by transmigration since childhood, I embarked on a path of volunteerism and extracurricular engagement in 2018, involving activities such as learning, teaching, public awareness initiatives, and event coordination.

I am honored to have achieved the official recognition of OV (outreach volunteer) status from UNHCR and its partner organizations in Peshawar Haji Camp. Within our dedicated communal Place, we provide essential assistance to those in need. As a volunteer team leader, I guide a team of volunteers and actively seek fresh ideas to engage the younger generation.

Our team collaborates with UNHCR and its partners on various projects, including initiatives like Drive and Cash Assistance, devoting our time and resources to making a difference. Through the ELITE REFUGEE platform, I am ready and eager to contribute to the noble mission of our esteemed organization within my local community.”

I am Asmat Ullah Zadran, a highly motivated and dedicated individual throughout my educational journey. I have showed a firm commitment to excellence in both academic and extracurricular activities. With my exceptional presentation skills, City University of Science and IT Management Science Department at Batch 11 recognized me with a Best Presentation Award.

I have started online school learn with Zadran and have arranged various session to Afghan and Pakistani students on professional skill development. I am eager to empower Afghan refugees and contribute to the missions and vision of the Elite Refugees.

I introduce myself as a final year Law student, having a strong passion for quality education and an inclusive society. and a Founding member of an digital international youth led platform “Bit of Queen”. I have experience working as a leadership mentor for the International Youth Leaders Program, executive board member, and volunteer for youth organizations across the globe. I have also been part of various prestigious training/leadership institutes and International Summer Schools on regional connectivity as one of the top participants from all across Pakistan.

Inayat Ullah

Welcome to Elite Refugees, where compassionate hearts unite to make a profound impact on the lives of displaced individuals. As an experienced event manager, I am thrilled to join this incredible platform. With a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Hazara University Mansehra, where I achieved a gold medal, and currently pursuing my Master’s degree from University of Haripur.  My academic journey has been enriched by being the recipient of the DAFI scholarship and serving as the president of the DAFI Club in the Hazara region. Furthermore, I actively engage in social activism as a member of the Provincial Youth Assembly in KPK and contribute as an outreach volunteer for SHARP.

Khalid Khan

HR Manager

I am Khalid Khan a registered AFGHAN Refugee born in Pakistan. Being the HR manager at Elite Refugees “Non Profit, Non-Governmental -Refugee Led organization” parallel to this, I am currently serving as Regional finance and accounting development specialist in a USAID-funded Business Recovery Initiative Program.

I studied up to grade 12th in a local school of Pakistan. In the not-too-distant future, I did my bachelor’s “BBA” from the Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar. For my bachelor’s degree, I was an HEC Pakistan Scholarship holder. After completing my bachelor’s, soon after I earned my master’s “MBA” degree from the same institute having an HSSP Scholarship. I am a certified researcher from the John Carroll University United States. I am Microsoft office Specialist Certified by Microsoft “MOS”.
As a Registered Afghan refugee studied in Pakistan, besides my studies, I have worked as a youth researcher with JIGSAW consultant UK in partnership with UNHCR for three years. I have written two Personal blogs. “My personal experience being a youth researcher & my experience as a data collector DP2”. I have participated in an article “Voices of Refugee Youth” which is under review for publication In the Education in Emergencies Journal. I have worked with GIZ as an enumerator and as a Pashto English interpreter with the big words. My aim is to help those who are in the same path where I have been for almost three decades.

Life Being a Refugee is not trouble-free, especially when facing Political, Economic, and Documentation challenges.

Ahmad Mudasar Wahidi

Volunteer Recruiter

Mr. Ahmad Mudasser Wahidi is an Afghan refugee born in Pakistan. After the completion
of high school, he was unable to get admission in university for five years. During this
time, he worked in different companies, shops, and restaurants until he learned about the
DAFI scholarship and could attend the University of Peshawar. He also participated in a
programme called DAFI+, which is an on-the-job training and completed an internship
and training with Pakistani start-up companies. At the National Incubation Center (NIC) in
Peshawar, Ahmad applied with his start-up idea “Wah-Mantu” and was selected for the
incubation training. More than 450+ start-up ideas were proposed, and his group was
selected. Ahmad also has a web-page called “Information for Afghan Refugees” through
which he helps his community. Currently he is working in a Project with UN IOM as a Migrant Service Assistant

I am Fatima Alizada from Ghazni, Afghanistan. I am Business Graduate from COMSATS University and completed my MBA program from University of Management and Technology Lahore. I have participated in different programs and workshops, which has helped me to become aware of myself more than before. My motivation to join elite organisation as volunteer is to help me feel apart of a community ,share our talents, learn new skills and create better opportunities for those you are really needed.
My future plan is to serve and help my community girls and women, empower and educate them for the betterment of happy, healthy and peaceful world. Lastly, I believe that all humans have the right to live a happy life.together we can be stronger and happier. So let’s empower the each other!

I am Misbah Ur Rahman. An Afghan refugee in Pakistan. I am studying Software Engineering. Along with my academics, I am a Representative of Afghan students’ Union at the City University of Science and Information Technology Peshawar. Besides this, I am the founder of Afghan Debate Club, where we transform lives through dialogues. Being a member of Elite Refugee, I am passionate to transform lives of Afghan refugees through Education and bring social Cohesion into Afghan Community.
